Sports Injury Management in Echuca
Whether you are a weekend runner, a tradesperson whose work is physically demanding, or a competitive athlete, injuries that affect your ability to move and perform deserve proper assessment. At Echuca Spine Studio, Dr Tia provides functional chiropractic care that looks at how the whole body moves, not just the site of injury.
Common presentations we see
Lower back pain and muscle strains
Neck and shoulder injuries
Hip, knee, and ankle complaints
Rib and thoracic pain from contact or impact sports
Overuse injuries from repetitive movement patterns
Post-recovery return to sport support
Performance limitations linked to spinal or joint restriction
How we approach sports injuries
Assessment comes first. Dr Tia takes a detailed history of how the injury occurred, your training load, and your goals for recovery. The examination looks at the injured area alongside the broader movement patterns that may have contributed to the injury.
Care may include spinal and extremity adjustments, soft tissue work, and specific rehabilitation exercises. Dr Tia will also provide practical guidance on load management and return to activity to reduce the risk of re-injury.
Working alongside your other health providers
If you are already working with a physio, sports doctor, or GP, Dr Tia is happy to work collaboratively as part of your team. If referral is the right step at any point, she will facilitate that clearly.
